A service overview and catalog of Campus Wi-Fi provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub.
Wi-Fi connectivity is generally available throughout most buildings on campus plus UC Berkeley-affiliated buildings located off-site. For the most stable and secure connection, eduroam is the primary Wi-Fi service providing students, faculty, and staff access to the campus network (). Devices incompatible with eduroam can use the Berkeley-IoT Wi-Fi network. Visitors who do not have eduroam access can use Berkeley-Visitor for basic internet.

Choose "eduroam" from the Wi-Fi network options on your device. Follow instructions to connect based on the device you are using: Once you have set up eduroam the first time, your device should automatically use eduroam whenever you are within an area where it is provided. See also: Create an eduroam account; be sure to drop other Wi-Fi options in your list; If prompted, please accept the security certificate to connect to the wireless network.
