Google AI Pro for Education is a premium subscription that enhances AI capabilities by giving users access to stronger models, embedding Gemini within Google Workspace applications, and allowing NotebookLM data to be used alongside Gemini for smoother workflows.

Google AI Pro for Education includes enhanced data protections covered under the University of California Terms and Conditions. Your data will not be used to train AI models and will not be included in other public AI query results when you use these tools while logged in with your Berkeley account.

Expanded limits to Deep Research.
Expanded NotebookLM capabilities (more audio overviews, larger notebook capacities, deeper research tools).

Getting Started

Initial release with limited availability: Pre-order for departments available beginning on January 28, 2026. We plan to start taking individual orders mid-February 2026.

Submit an order via the Google AI Pro for Education Request Form, providing a valid chartstring.
